We all know that we continue to face times and situations like most of us have never seen. The announcement last night that the “stay at home” recommendation will remain in place until the end of April was disheartening in so many ways. We are a nation that thrives on going and doing, but now that must come to a definite halt. With the virus spread increasing, it is more important now than ever before to listen to the authorities. So, enjoy this time at home to catch up on things – reading, cleaning, working in your yard, walking in safe areas away from others. We yearn for human contact and connection, but we must persevere a little longer. Those of us who are a part of a loving, caring church family miss our connection! But, with the announcement last night, we will be worshiping in our homes connected through social media through the end of April. As a Christian we know that God is present with us and will see us through this. Until this is over, continue to trust His Word and look to Him for strength as well as comfort. Lean on this scripture to help you cope and stay focused:

Psalm 46: 1-3
1 God is our refuge and strength,
a very present help in trouble.
2 Therefore we will not fear, though the earth should change,
though the mountains shake in the heart of the sea;
3 though its waters roar and foam,
though the mountains tremble with its tumult.
