At the end of yesterday, and the Epiphany, most of us packed Christmas away for another year. We have looked back over this past year with emotions of all kinds. But now is the time to really look forward. What will 2022 bring for you? Will you take the opportunity to set aside those things that have held you back and move forward with your life? There are decisions to be made, memories to hold on to and memories to forget, bitterness to be forgotten, and forgiveness that we must give. Exciting and new challenges are yours for the taking. Each new day of this year will give you the chance to do things you have never done before. Take advantage of all the possibilities before you and live the life that has been given you! My prayer for you is that on December 31, you look back on this year and smile. Philippians 3: 13-15: “But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize of God’s heavenly calling in Christ Jesus.” My prayer is that each of us will embrace this point of view as we look to the future.
